| Aim: | The aim of this session is to provide new knowledge and skills and an understanding of the Current NMC standards for Mentors enabling effective mentoring through standardised assessment and adherence to correct process. |
| Background: | Practitioners have a responsibility to facilitate students to develop their competence. Students on Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) approved Pre-registration programmes must be supported and assessed by updated Mentors. This session provides an interactive experience to acquire new skills and knowledge of the mentoring process and an opportunity to debate mentoring judgements utilizing scenarios. |
